Age Limit as on application date:
The minimum age to apply for the post released by the Income Tax Department is 18 years whereas the maximum age is 30 years for the Inspector post, 27 years for the Tax Assistant post, and 25 years for the post of Multi Tasking Staff (MTS).
The upper age limit is relaxed up to a maximum of 5 years for Unreserved/OBC candidates, 10 years in the case of SC/ST candidates,
